FINA: Updates to Olympic Qualifying Meets, 2006 Masters Top-10
|
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--FINA has updated the list of meets were Olympic qualifying times can be achieved, located at the link below. Several significant meets (e.g. 2007 University Games, 2007 Pan Ams, 2008
Europeans) still are not listed. Among those added include the 2007 Chinese Nationals (in May and September), the Greek Grand Prix, the Paris Open, and several other European events.

Australian Age Swimming Championships - Australian Swimming Club Final Point Score |
The Australian Age Swimming Championships were recently completed in Perth, Australia.
Listed to the right are the final point scores in the Australian Swimming Club Point Score for the Championships.
Congratulations to the leading Australian club West Coast from WA and their coaching team. Second was Miami Club in Queensland and third was Norwood Swimming Club from South Australia.

2007 World Swimming Championships Test Results |
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--FINA announced Monday 16th April 2007 the drug testing results from last month's World Championships in Melbourne, Australia.
In total, 393 urine tests were performed on samples from 233 athletes representing 40 countries. There were around 2,220 athletes from 171 nations at the event. Of the 393 samples, 304 were conventional urine tests with the remaining 89 also tested for EPO.
All test results were negative.
