Eastern Shore Swimming Club

Eastern Shore Sharks Swimming Club Inc is based on the eastern shore of Hobart at the Ocean Health & Fitness complex, with training in an indoor 25 metre pool and access to gym facilities, catering for all ages.

The Eastern Shore Sharks Swimming Club was incorporated in March, 2007. The Club was formally known as the Lindisfarne Amateur Swimming Club ,and changed its name to be more generic with the Eastern Shore. The Lindisfarne Amateur Swimming Club was originally formed in 1984, and incorporated on 6th April, 1985.

The Shark’s mission is:
To provide an avenue for Tasmanian Swimmers to progress to the highest level of the sport. To establish the Eastern Shore Sharks as the pacesetter for swimmers in Tasmania. To promote and increase the profile of swimming so that it is viewed as a healthy, physical and personal development activity.
