Clayfield Aquatics Swimming Club

Our squad program caters for a wide range of swimming levels. Within all squads, specific importance is placed on the development of the correct stroke technique. As the swimmer advances through each squad level they are educated in progressive drills and techniques, whilst improving on their individual level of endurance. All programs are skills and ability based, and as such, each swimmer trains in a squad of an equivalent age, ability, skill level, dedication, fitness level, competitive desire and love for the sport of swimming.

The aim of our junior program is to develop advanced swimming techniques for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke as well as butterfly. Swimmers in Advance Squad are on preparation for carnivals and State Championships.

Everton Park State School Amateur Swimming Club “Park Sharks”

The Park Sharks have had a $1/4 million revamp to the pool facilities located within the Everton Park State School.  The refurbishment has included the installation of a powerful heat pump and a full renovation of the amenities block including the installation of hot showers.  The grandstand has also benefitted from a major refit. The Park Sharks hold club nights on Friday nights and runs squad training from  mini squad to advanced squad levels.  Adult squad training is also available.

Helensvale Swimming Club

Our Club’s main aim is to foster and develop competitive swimming for boys and girls from 5 years upwards capable of swimming 25 metres of any stroke. We promote good sportsmanship and loyalty at all times and like to encourage parental participation wherever possible. Our Friday Nights Swimming is a mix of Competitive and Social Swimming and for the serious competitor our Club competes in Inter-Club Carnivals. We are situated at in Rugby Lane Helensvale just next to the High School.

Holland Park State School Swim Club

The beginners, learn to swim and squad training programs are operated by the Club using AUSTSWIM qualified learn to swim teachers and a Silver Level Head Coach. Further details of times and session fees are provided later in the Handbook. It is not necessary to be a member of the Club to receive tuition.

John Paul College Aquatics (JPC Aquatics)

Pool location: Stephen Paul Aquatic Centre, John Paul College, John Paul Drive, Daisy Hill, Queensland. Our pool is outdoor 10-lane 25x25m square pool with constant depth 2m, was built in 2008. Water is very clear and temperature is kept at 28 C all year round.

Kokoda Spirit Swimming Club, Queensland

Kokoda Spirit Swimming Club is a newly formed swimming club (2012) located at Townsville Grammar School and the Kokoda Memorial Pool. The club prides itself on looking after the competitive needs of swimmers, by providing quality coaching and support to allow each individual to achieve their goals.

We are closely aligned with Townsville Grammar School, and the Club embraces the philosophies and expectations of the School. Membership of the Club is open to swimmers of all ages… the only requirement being that you can swim 12.5 metres unaided. If you aren’t quite sure if swimming is the sport for you but would like to give it a try, you can compete in two Friday night meets before you join the Club.

Maryborough Swimming Club Inc

Maryborough Swimming Club hosts four swim meets throughout the year, three in summer and one in winter. Electronic timing equipment is used at all meets, guaranteeing accuracy. All meets are QSA approved qualifying carnivals.

The club offers swimmers many opportunities to participate in club nights, carnivals both in Mackay and around the region. The club holds annual club championships.

Railway Swimming Club

We encourage and promote swimming for all ages. We offer 12.5m kickboard events for children who are unable to swim without assistance. Swimmers are then offered a variety of distances to swim in all four strokes each club night. These include, 12.5m, 25m, 50m, 100m and a distance swim of either 200m or 400m in their preferred stroke.

Redbacks Swim Club

At the “Redbacks” swimmers are encouraged to better their own times each club night, so essentially they compete against themselves. This has great rewards in building self esteem and confidence in children. You don’t have to be “Thorpie” to participate, just be able to swim 25m in any (or all) of the four strokes.

Redcliffe Leagues Swimming Club Inc

The Redcliffe Leagues Swimming Club team trains at the Redcliffe City High Performance Centre. The pool is situated on the Redcliffe Peninsula in the seaside suburb of Redcliffe. Southport Olympic Swimming Club Inc

The Southport Olympic Swimming Club has been able to trace its existence to the mid-1920’s, though it was not until 25th October, 1939 that the Southport Swimming Club affiliated with the Queensland Swimming Association.

Southside Aquatics

Southside Aquatics is a First Division Club with the Brisbane Swimming Association (BSA) and is affiliated with Swimming Queensland(SQ) and Swimming Australia (SAL). Waterworx Amateur Swim Club

Whites Hill Swimming Club 

Established in 1976, this Brisbane,QLD based club offers all forms of swimming to the community whilst remaining affordable. We are located on the corner of Burn and Abbott Streets, Camp Hill. The club caters for learn to swim, squad training, club night competition and adult training. Training is offered in both morning and afternoon/evening sessions.

Learn to swim is offered on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Our club nights are on Tuesday nights. As a BSA/QSA affiliated club, swimmers can push their competitive natures to the next level through competing in BSA/QSA carnivals. We operate from September to April and possess a 6 lane 25m pool with track blocks.

The club currently operates through a silver and a bronze NCAS/ASCTA coaches who have been associated with the club for over twenty years. Both have AUSTSWIM qualifications as well as current first aid and CPR competencies.
