FINA adds 94 Approved suits to list since last week
LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--In the midst of the 2010 European Championships, and 2 days before the start of swimming at the 1st Youth Olympics, FINA today has posted an update to the Approved Swimsuit list, which incorporates the addition of 94 suits. Total number of entries on the list is now 558, up from 464 from last week's update (August 5) and 486 from the July 22, 2010 update.
Differences in today's update from the August 5, 2010 update:
-column headings (the 2 columns added last week are "FINA label" and "Valid from"
-additional "valid from" date of July 1, 2010, added to January 1, 2010 and April 15, 2010
-ordering of list has changed; column prioritization for ordering the list is now: Manufactuer -> Valid from -> Gender -> Shape
--out of order by manufacturer name: Modeta Style, [a portion of] Sports Hig
-new manufacturer: Aauarapid (4 suits), FEW (4 suits), Yamamoto Hokosho (2 suits)
